WHAT IF AN AGE DIVISION IS FULL?
For a limited time, you may sign up for a waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified via email. All openings are filled on a first come, first served basis.

CAN I CHOOSE WHICH REC TEAM MY CHILD WILL BE ON?
Although we do accept requests for teammates for the purpose of carpooling needs, fulfillment of such requests is not guaranteed.  When coaches, players and/or parents start choosing up whole teams, the teams can become unbalanced, which isn’t much fun and defeats the purpose of our Recreational program. One of the benefits of recreational soccer is making new friends, experiencing new coaches and new techniques.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHICH TEAM MY CHILD IS ON?
U5 thru U19 Rec
: You will be notified via email as to which team your child has been assigned 3-5 days prior to the first practice.

Tiny Tykes (U4) Rec:
Parents are able to select their preferred session time when registering. You will come at the same time each week.

HOW OFTEN ARE PRACTICES AND WHERE ARE THEY HELD?
U5 and U6 rec players
practice one evening per week.
All other rec age divisions
practice two nights. Most rec practices are held at Henderson Park. Due to field space constraints, some coaches opt to move their practices to a nearby elementary school, though this is a rare exception.
Tiny Tykes
 do not have practices.
Academy Jr practices are twice per week at Henderson Park.

Academy and Select
practices are held at our Granite Park facility and are held twice per week.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?
U5 thru U12 Rec
teams play intra-league games which are held at Henderson Park.
U14 thru U19 Rec teams play against other area clubs and therefore, half their games are at Henderson Park and the other half are held at neighboring clubs’ facilities. Most games are played on Saturdays (beginning at 8am and running throughout the day). In some cases, especially with the U14-U19 teams, there may be occasional Sunday play.  .
Academy Jr U6 and U7 play against our rec teams at Henderson Park.
Academy Jr U8, Academy and Select teams play half their games at our Granite Park facility and the other half at neighboring clubs' facilities.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
Field status will be posted to the TYSA website (www.tysa.com) by 3:00 pm each weekday and by 6:30 am each Saturday. We will continue to monitor the conditions and, in the case of late-arriving storms, will update the site as necessary.
***We encourage all TYSA families to sign up to receive field status notifications via text or email at RAINED OUT. ***
