She attended McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and lettered all four years on the Varsity Team.  Megan continued her soccer career at The College of Charleston (1998-2002) where she was the only freshman to start from her class all 21 games.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College Charleston in Special Education and recently graduated from Georgia State University with a Master’s Degree in Multiple and Severe Disabilities.  She is an Itinerant Teacher for Dekalb County Schools where she works with Students with Physical and Health Disabilities.
